On the road. Discovering who This New Man is.
The issue becomes more important stylistically now that Movember has come to a close. If you don’t know what that is, you might want to find out for next year. Men with mustaches, seeking to dramatize that fact, apparently raise a lot of money and awareness for prostate cancer during this season each year. And what’s particularly cool about this is that there really aren’t a lot of charitable efforts by, for and engaging men. This guy’s demonstration is rather unique, a full throated chesty version, though most don’t go so extreme.
But as beastly as the whole issue may seem to some, Movember and the close of the warm months raise interesting questions. Is the time right for the return of the mustache as a given, something more now fewer men should consider? Men have a propensity to showcase the few days’ growth look because it has a rather nice ratty appeal. Not to mention that men like it because it gives them the chance to pretty much ignore worrying about their face for a few days – though that is not really something they should do. Even scruffiness needs some guidance.
Still, for those who have ended November with a mustache issue, what is the stylish take on facial hair for the New Man that is now emerging? Are mustaches making a comeback? Should we be shopping to add this as an accessory as well? Latin Men, like a number of their European counterparts, seem to have a favor for defaulting to yes; but American men do seem to add their own cultural attraction with this addition – and it is clearly something that differentiates them from the other side of the Metro scale.
Should mustaches be just a charitable gig?
